2.5 RESOLUTION OF OH&S ISSUES
In some States there is a requirement under the appropriate OH&S legislation to have a Resolution of Safety Issues procedure in place. In most Master Plumbers Apprentices Limited controlled sites there has not been a need for formalised procedures as most safety problems are dealt with promptly by the manager and employees at the time that the issue was raised.

The formal procedure is listed below:

1. Reporting of Safety Issues
Safety issues arising in the workplace are to be reported to the immediate supervisor. It may also be reported to the site safety officer or the health and safety representative for the work area.

2. Resolution of Safety Issues
Wherever possible the safety issue is to be resolved within the designated work area. If the issue cannot be resolved at this point, a representative from Master Plumbers Apprentices Limited. Someone from Master Plumbers Apprentices Limited or nominated practitioner in OH&S will visit the site and assess the hazard or safety issue and discuss the
