SAFETY PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
 
 
 


11. No person shall use any item of plant or equipment which is in any way
damaged of defective. You must report the above to their immediate supervisor for repair or replacement.

12. Never wander about at any client workplace unless authorised to do so and
Where necessary are accompanied by a competent guide, (someone who knows the area well). Do not touch machinery or equipment which you are not authorised!

13. No alcoholic liquor or illegal drugs are to be taken to any work site. Do not come to work under the influence. If you are taking prescribed medication you must inform your supervisor and Field Officer prior to commencing work.

14. IN ALL AREAS - AND AT ALL TIMES TAKE NOTICE OF AND OBEY ALL SIGNS AND DIRECTIVES - THEY ARE THERE FOR YOUR SAFETY.


2.2 SAFETY PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The Master Plumbers Apprentices Limited Safety Program has the following objectives:

To promote an attitude of safety awareness among Master Plumbers Apprentices Limited employees.
Minimise damage to plant and equipment.
Promote quality and efficiency through safe working practices and standards.

These objectives will be achieved by:

Ensuring that you and your fellow employees follow SAFE WORKING PRACTICES.
Regularly servicing tools and equipment as well as obeying individual safety instructions for hazardous equipment.
Continuously reviewing, where practical to do so, site safety conditions and employee safe working practices.
Where appropriate providing adequately equipped and efficiently managed first aid facilities.
Conducting Accident Investigations to determine:

(a) Cause of the accident and,
(b) Corrective action to prevent a similar accident occurring.

As an employee you have a major part to play in how safely you work and you are required to know the SAFE WORKING PRACTICES for you job and follow them.
