Familiarise yourself with all the safety requirements and procedures
for the area in which you work.

All injuries must be reported the same day and entered on the
appropriate accident form found in the back of your time book.
You must also report all accidents, injuries and near misses to
the First Aid attendant/Safety Officer and your immediate supervisor
no matter how slight, by the end of the shift. If sick during
shift you must report to First Aid and your immediate supervisor
by the end of the shift. Contact your Field Officer as soon as
possible.
3. All safety instructions given for your own health and
safety or for the health and safety of others must be obeyed.
4. Personal Protective Equipment must be worn as directed.
Observe all safety notices and signs.
5. The wearing of unsuitable clothing will not be permitted
on the job, check with the Client Supervisor for suitability.
6. Safety devices and guards must not be removed
or made inoperative. All defects must be immediately reported
to supervisors.
7. Vehicles or other items of plant and machinery must
not be started, moved or perated without authority. Drivers shall
obey all road signs and speed limits. Plant or equipment requiring
special licences, certificates or training must not be operated
unless you are authorised to do so.

Horseplay or practical jokes of any kind will not be tolerated.
9.
In the event of any doubt pertaining to work, contact your immediate
Client Supervisor.
10. Familiarise yourself with the plant layout, location
of first aid facilities, emergency procedures, store, telephone
locations and other areas. Also find out the names and locations
of emergency personnel.
