5.7 COMPRESSED AIR

Compressed air can cause serious injuries.
Do not blow compressed air against yourself or any other person.
Check hose couplings before use.

Do not use compressed air for cleaning down unless directed to do so by your Job Supervisor and it is safe to do so.

When changing one type of tool for another, turn off the valve. Never 'kink' a hose.

Always wear eye protection and ear muffs/plugs when using compressed air.
When using compressed air you are responsible for protecting other people in the area.

When hoses are not in use keep them coiled up and clear of all walkways.
Always use a wire safety clip attached to the C.P. couplings when connecting air hoses.

Not all hoses are suitable for HIGH PRESSURE AIR. Check hoses before using them.
