Welcome to Master Plumbers Apprentices Limited from the Management and your fellow employees, to a company, which places safety first.

Safety is the responsibility of all employees of Master Plumbers Apprentices Limited, not only individually but also collectively.

This Safety handbook has been prepared as a guide to assist you to understand what our standards are in relation to OH&S.

As you begin your employment with Master Plumbers Apprentices Limited, we want to emphasise the importance of a serious attitude towards the observance of, and compliance with, safety rules.

Being an employee of Skilled means that you may find yourself working in many and varied environments, here are just some of the industries which you may encounter:

• Administration
• Building sites
• Large Construction Sites
• On roof's
• In ditches
• Homes
• Factories
• Shops
• Confined spaces

Each and every one of these places has its own peculiar and special safety hazards and safe working practices. You must familiarise yourself with these hazards and practices, by asking the Host Trainers Supervisor or Safety Representative, before you start work.
